    What this calculator answers

Pet-insurance reimbursement depends on eligible charges and the written order of deductible, reimbursement percentage and benefit limits—not the invoice total alone.

Apply user-entered pet-policy arithmetic to an annual set of eligible claims without estimating a premium.

    Method and calculation order

The calculator supports one annual deductible or a repeated per-claim/per-condition deductible and can apply the percentage before or after that deductible. The entered remaining annual limit caps the modeled payment.

    Worked reference example

With 5,000 of eligible expenses, a 500 annual deductible and 80% reimbursement applied after the deductible, the uncapped payment is 3,600. A 10,000 remaining annual limit does not reduce it.

    How to use the result

Copy eligibility, deductible basis, calculation order, reimbursement basis and every limit from the policy. Test a routine year and a high-cost year rather than relying on one claim.

Open the decision and evidence guide.

    What the calculator cannot know

The tool does not decide eligibility, pre-existing conditions, waiting periods, reasonable-and-customary adjustments, exam-fee treatment, benefit schedules, bilateral conditions, renewal changes or claim approval.

    Frequently asked questions

Why can two 80% policies pay differently?

Deductible order, eligible-expense definitions and limits can differ.

    Does the tool estimate premiums?

    No. Premium is user-entered only.
