Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

CalculatorGeek uses cookies and browser storage to support website features, account access, analytics, and advertising. This page explains those uses and the available controls. Our Privacy Policy covers the information processed by these features.

Cookies and other browser storage

Cookies are small values that a browser can send with website requests. Local storage remains on a device until cleared or removed by a feature. Session storage is limited to a browser tab session. These technologies are different from information stored in your CalculatorGeek account.

Storage used by CalculatorGeek

Cookie names and lifetimes can vary with the service, configuration, and browser. The European consent message lists its advertising partners and purposes. Read Google’s explanation of cookies and information used on partner sites for Google’s services.

Google’s European consent message

On ad-supported pages, visitors in regions covered by the European message can consent, refuse consent, or manage purposes and vendors. Advertising and analytics Consent Mode are enabled for that message. Analytics storage follows the message’s applicable storage consent choice. Consent Mode may still send limited, cookieless measurement requests when storage is denied.

Non-personalized advertising is not necessarily cookie-free. Some storage or requests may be used for permitted delivery, security, or measurement purposes. The choices and information in the message should be read together rather than assuming that a particular ad label describes every technology used.

Change your choices

Where the European message applies, select Privacy & cookie settings in the footer of an ad-supported page to reopen Google’s message. The control appears once the service confirms that the message applies. If this page has no active consent service, open the homepage and use its footer control.

The control may not appear if you are outside the message’s region, in an administrator or ad-free testing session, or if your browser blocks the consent service. You can always use browser settings to view, block, or clear cookies and site storage. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or preference-saving features from working. Clearing browser storage does not delete server-held account information.

My Ad Center provides Google’s advertising preference controls. These are separate from the choices in CalculatorGeek’s consent message.

Other tracking and policy updates

Histats audience measurement can load automatically on eligible public visits when our consent service explicitly confirms that European consent rules do not apply. It remains off in consent-required or unknown regions unless you separately allow Histats. Allow or withdraw it through Analytics settings in the footer when you are signed out. We honor your saved refusal, Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track, service-specific denial, and an opt-out reported by the existing US-state consent API. The cg_histats_consent_v1 local-storage preference records your choice and its date for 180 days. A Google advertising or analytics consent grant does not grant Histats permission.

When allowed, Histats (Wisecode SRL) can use cookies and returning-device identifiers and receive device, IP, and public page-visit information. Read Histats’ privacy information. Withdrawal prevents future loading and reloads an already-tracked page; it cannot undo previous collection or delete third-party cookies. Use Histats’ opt-out and browser controls for those cookies. Signed-in and testing sessions and URLs with query or fragment values are excluded.

We will update this page when the described services or controls change. For questions or privacy requests, email support@calculatorgeek.com.
