At the current standard Roblox DevEx rate, 1,000 eligible Earned Robux is $3.80 USD, 30,000 is $114, and 100,000 is $380. Legacy Earned Robux from before 10:00 a.m. PT on September 5, 2025 pays $3.50 per 1,000. Certain qualifying in-game spend from age-checked U.S. players 18+ in eligible games pays $5.40 per 1,000 from June 8, 2026.
Choose the bucket Roblox shows, or use the mixed-balance workflow when your Creator Dashboard separates earnings across rates. The calculator estimates gross USD; it does not decide whether an account or balance is eligible.
| Rate bucket | USD per Earned Robux | USD per 1,000 | 30,000 Earned Robux | When it applies |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Current standard | $0.0038 | $3.80 | $114 | Standard eligible Earned Robux acquired on or after September 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. PT |
| Legacy | $0.0035 | $3.50 | $105 | Eligible Earned Robux acquired before that cutoff, including applicable group funds |
| U.S. 18+ qualifying | $0.0054 | $5.40 | $162 | Certain eligible in-game spend from age-checked U.S. players 18+ in an eligible game, effective June 8, 2026 |
Rates and cutoff wording were checked against Roblox Creator Hub and Roblox Support on October 11, 2026. Roblox can change its rates and requirements.
For one rate bucket:
Estimated payout = eligible Earned Robux x applicable USD rate
For mixed balances:
Total payout = (U.S. 18+ Robux x 0.0054) + (legacy Robux x 0.0035) + (standard Robux x 0.0038)
For a target payout:
Whole Earned Robux needed = ceiling(target USD / selected rate)
The target workflow then uses the greater of that amount and 30,000. Rounding upward matters: at the standard rate, $500 / 0.0038 is 131,578.947..., so at least 131,579 whole Earned Robux is required.
100,000 x $0.0038 = $380. The balance is above the 30,000 threshold, but Roblox still reviews eligibility after a request is submitted.
Suppose Creator Dashboard shows 10,000 U.S. 18+ rate Robux, 15,000 legacy Robux, and 75,000 current standard Robux. The components are $54, $52.50, and $285. Their sum is $391.50 for 100,000 entered Earned Robux.
The formula alone gives 26,316 whole Earned Robux, but that is below the 30,000 DevEx threshold. The smallest modeled request is therefore 30,000 Earned Robux, with an estimated gross payout of $114.
DevEx applies to Roblox-defined Earned Robux. Roblox lists qualifying creator earnings such as eligible monetization of original experiences, virtual content, Creator Store items, avatar items, ads, and Creator Rewards. Roblox also states that directly purchased Robux, subscription grants, gift-card redemptions, trading or resale balances, and Robux received through transfers do not automatically count as Earned Robux.
Do not use a retail Robux purchase calculator to estimate DevEx. Buying Robux and cashing out eligible creator earnings are separate transactions with different rules.
Roblox currently requires at least 30,000 Earned Robux in the account before a creator can submit a request. The DevEx Terms also require the creator to be at least 13, have a Roblox-verified email address, have a valid DevEx portal account, keep the applicable W-9 or W-8 tax form on file, comply with ongoing service requirements, and remain in compliance with Roblox terms and Community Standards.
Meeting the numeric threshold does not guarantee approval. Roblox reviews the account and the source of the Earned Robux after submission, and its decision controls the actual cash-out.
Roblox states that qualifying U.S. 18+ rate Robux cashes out before other rate buckets. Any legacy-rate balance must then cash out before current standard-rate Earned Robux. Spending Robux on the platform reduces the total account balance but does not count as clearing the legacy-rate balance first.
The mixed workflow estimates the value of all amounts entered. It does not attempt to reproduce a partial request across buckets because Roblox controls the bucket classification and application order.
The $0.0054 rate is not based simply on the creator being 18 or living in the United States. Roblox describes it as a designated rate for certain qualifying purchases by age-checked U.S. players 18+ in eligible games. Eligible purchase types include developer products, passes, in-game subscriptions, and private servers; the game must also meet Roblox's current eligibility criteria.
Use this bucket only for the separate amount Roblox identifies as eligible. Review the official U.S. 18+ rate documentation for current game and purchase requirements.
Use the result as a planning estimate and confirm the request details in Roblox before making a financial decision.

The What do you want to calculate? choice selects one balance, mixed balances, or a USD target. DevEx rate bucket selects the official rate for a single balance or target. Earned Robux is the one-bucket amount. U.S. 18+ rate Earned Robux, Legacy-rate Earned Robux, and Current standard-rate Earned Robux are used only for a mixed estimate. Target payout is the desired gross USD amount.
Estimated gross DevEx payout is the headline USD estimate. Total Earned Robux in this estimate is the balance used in the arithmetic. Earned Robux needed by formula shows the reverse calculation before the minimum can raise the modeled request. Robux short of the 30,000 threshold and Minimum threshold progress describe only the numeric minimum, not full eligibility. Effective payout per 1,000 Earned Robux exposes the blended rate.
For mixed balances, U.S. 18+ bucket payout, Legacy bucket payout, and Current standard bucket payout show each component. For target estimates, Amount above the exact target shows the effect of whole-Robux rounding or the minimum. Difference versus current standard rate compares the modeled payout with the same total at $0.0038.
At the current standard rate, 100,000 eligible Earned Robux is an estimated $380 USD. The same amount is $350 at the legacy rate or $540 only when all 100,000 qualifies for the designated U.S. 18+ rate.
Roblox currently requires at least 30,000 Earned Robux in the account before a creator can submit a DevEx request. Other account, tax, compliance, and review requirements also apply.
No. Directly purchased Robux is not Earned Robux under the official DevEx rules. The calculator should be used with the eligible Earned Robux amount Roblox identifies.
Roblox retains a $0.0035 legacy rate for eligible balances from before the September 5, 2025 cutoff, uses $0.0038 as the current standard rate, and introduced a designated $0.0054 rate for certain qualifying U.S. 18+ player spend in eligible games from June 8, 2026.
No. It is a gross USD estimate from the official rate. Taxes, withholding, payment-provider charges, bank fees, and currency conversion depend on the creator and payment setup.
